Q: Can I really expect to catch fish over 20lbs?
A: Yes, most years only 2 or 3 people of the 150 who fish with us do not get fish over 20lbs

Q: How big is a 20lb Pike?
A: Most Pike that are 20lbs or larger will be about 45 inches or more.

Q: Are there any fly outs?
A: NO, all the fishing we do is on Lac La Martre, with no need for expensive additional flights to other locations

Q: Can I take a trophy fish home with me?
A: We apologize, but no one is allowed to take any fish home with them. We practice strict catch and release. Due to the cold water and short growing season, the fish in our lake take a very long time to get to trophy size. We do however allow you to take fish less than 10lbs. for shore lunch everyday.

Q: How many fish can I expect to catch each day?
A: As with any sport it is difficult to make such predictions, however 20 to 25 fish is usually a slow day and many fisherman find they catch more large fish on average than at any other lodge they have fished in the past.
